"While the Billows Roll" Anchor

Inspiration

"We have an anchor that keeps the soul, steadfast and sure while the billows roll. Fastened to the Rock that cannot move; grounded firm and deep in the Savior's love."           Priscilla Jane Owens

These are the words of a beloved old hymn we used to sing with gusto in my childhood church. The words are based on Hebrews 6:19; "This hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and steadfast..."Because of this verse, I have always loved the anchor as a motif for art and creativity.
